The inaugural grant was awarded to the Texas Gulf Coast Regional Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (TGCRVOAD) on July 7, 2025, providing them with comprehensive online collaboration infrastructure for the 2025 hurricane season.Addressing a Critical GapThe CSG program recognizes that while aid organizations excel at their core missions, many lack the resources to establish and manage sophisticated online collaboration platforms during emergencies. Conversa Corps’ solution provides an “out-of-the-box” collaboration capability, complete with technology, tools, procedures, personnel, expertise, and training.“Organizations shouldn’t have to choose between focusing on aid delivery and setting up communication systems when disasters strike,” said Chris Jones, Executive Director for Conversa Corps . “Our CSG program ensures they can do what they do best while we handle the collaboration infrastructure.”Real-World ImpactUnder the first CSG, TGCRVOAD’s 65 teams and approximately 450 member representatives now have access to Aid Arena, a centralized chat platform serving as their primary coordination hub.
