Conversa Corps

Our

Mission:
Conversa Corps mission is to transform the way multi-team collaboration services , crisis support and local teams collaborate and respond during crisis. We are the first non-profit organization to provide a free online database and mobile tools. Through Aid Arena, our chat space teams can explore, support, communicate and collaborate in unison. We are solving needs while making a big difference

Vision:
Conversa Corps vision is to empower global aid providers to intersect, collaborate and do more good together. With years of experience in crisis collaboration our premier online community, Aid Arena will become a place for educators, outreach and support to unite.

Dedicated to Improving Crisis Response through Collaboration

In the late 1990s, founding members of Conversa Corps began their discovery of Collaboration Operations by utilizing a  large group chatspace to gain situational awareness for national security operations centers they supported. The collaboration among thousands of teams led to National Level Certification status to lead conversations during emergency situations.

Over the next 25 years members led Facilitation for the greater community across dozens of online chat forums within thousands of chat channels.  Without meeting in person the teams shared work with a common mission. The effect was a faster agile response because teams could discover each other, collaborate what they knew, learn what they didn’t know, and converse.

If these tactics for group collaboration work for national security, they can work to bring aid to our world.  Aid Arena was created as a safe , vetted online forum where ALL organizations can come together to connect, build trust, and collaborate.  We envision it could be the tipping point  for wildfire response, humanitarian aid, and emergencies as one common goal, working together in unison yields a greater response.

Meet Conversa Corps , a nonprofit organization. Conversa means “Speak together”. Corps “body” is a team of collaboration experts, technologists, and supporters.

Core Beliefs

The following core beliefs reveal the purpose for our work.

Human conversation ignites collaboration.

Information, data, and resources are critical—but they’re not enough. For teams in aid and relief, real collaboration—the kind that fuels decisive action and deep human connection—demands something more: dialogue. Conversation is how we share not just facts, but meaning. It’s how we build trust, alignment, and momentum across diverse teams and distant geographies. Especially through tools like chat, which transcend time zones and borders, we tap into a fundamental human capacity that has too often been sidelined in the age of information management. In a world that needs coordinated action more than ever, conversation remains our most powerful tool—for bridging divides, forging unity, and solving complex problems together.

Everyone Belongs in the Arena.

The world’s toughest challenges demand united action. We’re building a global space where anyone—regardless of nation, belief, or background—can step in, connect, and collaborate for the greater good. By breaking down barriers and rejecting division, we empower teams to work as one: open, fair, and mission-driven. This is a commons for problem-solvers—a “team of teams” united not by ideology, but by purpose. In crisis and beyond, we believe collaboration—not competition—is how we rise. Together, we amplify impact, accelerate solutions, and unleash the full power of collective action.

Connection Is Relief. Every Voice Counts.

In every crisis, connection saves lives. From local volunteers to global NGOs, every helper brings critical insight—and every voice matters. We champion real-time communication, transparent sharing, and inclusive coordination. The lived experience of a community responder is as vital as any global resource. By uniting local wisdom with global reach, we break silos, reduce duplication, and accelerate action. We amplify frontline voices, empower grassroots groups, and strengthen the whole system—because the fastest, smartest aid comes when everyone is heard, and everyone is linked.

Technology Should Uplift, Not Overwhelm.

We build tools that serve people, not systems. In times of crisis, tech must be simple, human-centered, and ready to act. Our platforms cut through complexity to deliver clarity—empowering responders to connect, coordinate, and care without friction. Free, open, and built for impact, our tools ensure that vital information flows fast, partnerships form quickly, and help reaches those who need it most.

Collaboration Accelerates Aid.

When disasters strike, coordination saves lives. Our platform ignites rapid response by connecting helpers across organizations, enabling real-time information sharing that transforms decision-making and maximizes impact. By forging enduring networks between aid providers, we build resilient systems that respond faster and more effectively to each crisis—strengthening communities’ ability to prepare, respond, and rebuild together.
